Optimist & Pesimist Figures Set of 2 Architectmade
Ying or Yang? Is the glass half full or half empty? When Hans Bølling observed his colleagues in the 1960s, he came up with the idea for the wooden figures Optimist and Pessimist. He noticed the different characters of his colleagues, which gave him the idea of expressing positive and negative attitudes to life through symbolic figures.
The smiling optimist with a raised head - on the other hand, the pessimist with a lowered head and deep-set eyes. The hair color of the figures underlines their moods. Arms stretched upwards or arms hanging down - this detail also shows the typical expression of the two opposing characters, who somehow belong together.
These two wooden figures are handmade from teak wood.
Available as a set of 2.
