Carl Hansen & Søn is expanding its Børge Mogensen collection with a flexible storage system that has never been in production before. In collaboration with Børge Mogensen's family, Carl Hansen & Søn has brought the furniture designer's forgotten drawings to life. The result is an expandable shelving system that can be remodeled, added to and adapted to individual storage needs and changing room sizes.
The flexible and multifunctional shelving system is the epitome of simplicity. It consists of veneered shelves in various sizes and a wooden cabinet that can be assembled using a frame made of cylindrical metal rods in various lengths. The shelves and the cabinet module can be combined as needed, and the mix of open and closed modules creates a rhythmic and transparent expression.
